Dad and I both expect a "model" project to take a VERY long time. We were pleasantly surprised that this one only took 45 minutes. Dad was thrilled that the parts were either snap or screw together. (Remember - Dad is from the old school where models were glued together; not so sure Rowdy has the patience for that yet).
