During last night's quizzing, Dad and I found out that Petunia has a new favorite subject in school ... writing! Wow, that is great. The 4th grade year is riddled with writing - all in preparation for the TAKS writing exam. I'm giddy with joy! Until ... I ask Petunia why she believes writing will be her favorite subject.
Her answer ...
Because she gets to lie and not get in trouble ...
Hmmmm ...

Tell her that would be creative writing, OR tell her that if she does that in college, they will tell her to leave college! I caught a student doing in yesterday.
Actually, if she likes to "make up stories" (let's not say lie because we want her to use that marvelous gift), she may write the Great American Novel! Good luck on that! :-)
