Rowdy has been asking for months for a friend of mine to make him a cookie cake to take to school for his birthday. Of course she obliged and even asked him to help design what he wanted. She did a great job (even though she took a little liberty in the design)…

He loved sharing his cookie with his friends at recess the day before his actual birthday (there was no school on his actual birthday).
I think I got a few points towards “Mom of the Year” this day!

Sorry he couldn't go with us to the hockey game this weekend. We were going as a family, but David caught that nasty stomach virus, and we had an extra ticket. We'll ask him again and give you some notice next time.
