OK, I’m DETERMINED to at least add our pictures from the Air Force Academy!!
After our trip to the Garden of the Gods (and our $17 lunch), we headed north of the city to the Air Force Academy. This is the one thing that Rowdy was really looking forward to about our day in the Springs.
Once we finally found the base, we had to wait to go through security to get on. The kids TOTALLY FREAKED when the guard opened the back of our van to peek inside. I guess we didn’t do a very good job of preparing them for that part of the day! They both thought we were being arrested!! Here are some of my favorite pictures from our afternoon there (hold on, there are a lot!)
